Hi everyone... I have a little confession to make...
My name is Lolly... and I like monster trucks!!!
(whew... it feels so good to get that out in the open!!!)
This past weekend RonChops surprised me with really awesome tickets to the Monster Jam at Cowboys Stadium!!! While RonChops isn't into monster trucks, he loves me dearly and takes good care of me and takes me to see them. (I loves me some RonChops (and I loves me some monster trucks too))!
I want to share my monster truck adventure with you girls... but I don't want to bore you to tears... so we are gonna mix things up a tad!
LET"S GET READY TO RUUMMMMBLE...
(oh wait... wrong sport!)
Firstly... we'll start out with a few monster trucks!!!
(these pics are from the "party in the pits"... not arm pits... truck pits... stick with me you guys... we'll get to crafts... I promise!!!)
This here's Blue Thunder...
I tried to talk the driver into changing the name to Teal Thunder...
...and failed miserably...
I think this means I'll need to sponsor my own Monster Truck someday so I'll have say in these things!
Here we have The Monster Mutt truck...
I'll have a download and print freebie pattern available here soon so you can make your own truck ears from felt!
However, the Monster Mutt tail pattern + how to is gonna require a video... it's MUCH more complicated!

If you look behind Madusa you can see a little teeny tiny mini Monster Truck...
They had these mounted with cameras so they could check for problems under the trucks...
Plus they were there for fun too!
These little mini's were so cute!
...and so darn cuddly!

I'm with Suz, only you sweet Lolly! Love your upcoming project and I love, love, love the cards! I made a card last week and one yesterday and realized how much I had missed making them! That is how I started my crafting journey :) Anywho, not trying to enter for the drawing but I will say this.... Is it Friday yet? My fav day of the week is Wednesday, love TV on Wednesdays (Criminal Minds) and it's not too close to Monday, but closer to the weekend! Lol, not even sure why I like it but I do.

Hey, Miss Lollychops!!!! I loves me some monster trucks too! Wish I got out to see them more often, it's been a while. The pictures are great! Brings back all sorts of memories of past events. Great idea for bringing your art together with the monster trucks - too funny!
Speaking of funny, don't you think it's kind of funny that I'm a Monday person? I always like the idea of a fresh start on Monday each and every week.

Wednesday - my quilt groups meets, it's half way through the week and things are still possible (come Thursday it's nearly the end of the week and I'm running out of time...) and many years ago, my dad didn't work on Wednesday afternoons and I so looked forward to him being home.
But struggling to get the monster trucks thing...

Lolly I love this post, it's hilarious! Monster Trucks are cool, TEAL THUNDER would be a way better name than Blue Thunder - this is so "clichee" :-)
And I adore the pink monster truck *thumbsup*
But what I like even more is your crafts, I can't wait for the Prima show with the cards! Though the basket is also really beautiful.
Oh and before I forget: I want to win! My favourite day is Saturday, because I can stay up and scrapbook for as long as I like ;-)

LURVE monster trucks too, unfortunately my boys aren't really into it *sigh* Poor Mummy.
My fav day of the week is Tuesday, it is my mid week day off, chill out time, time to catch up with friends and no stress about work

Honestly, it's a toss-up between Friday and Saturday. Fridays are nice because I run errands that day, and I love getting out of the house to run errands. Saturdays are nice because I don't have to get up so early, and I get to watch my son play soccer. I love watching him play!!

My son and huby would have loved being there with you! What a lovely set of cards... and the basket is just the best! Love the gorgeous flowers! I don't really have a favorite day, but I do love weekends... just something about it feels right. Maybe because we don't have to get up at 6am. :o)
