Welcome to week 5 of the Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop! Today I'll be sharing a super nifty die by Karen Burniston! This die is called Gift Card Holder w/Phrase, "For You" and you can check it out HERE!
I decided to mount my die inside a little tin flip open container instead of a card (and I totally apologize for the pictures... it's been cloudy around here lately and this getting dark early thing is a real stinker)!
The papers and embellies I used for my project today are from the Crate Paper - Snow Day Collection! You can see more of the collection HERE!
I made a little band that wraps around the outside of the tin...
...and ss you open it you start to see loads of layers and sparkle!
The bottom of the tin contains more of that Glistening Snow Tex by DecoArt (that I am utterly and completely in love with these days... you can check it out HERE!) and a little phrase covered in beautiful teal shimmery paint from Plaid (655 - Metalic Aquamarine)... looooove this color to pieces!
This is just a little side view of the gift card holder portion of the die!
...and a more detailed peep of the insides of the tin!
So that's it for today... and again... I am sooo sorry the pics are soooo terrible!
I hope you are all having a splendid week and enjoyed this little project!
Holiday HUGS!
P.S. I almost forgot! The winner of the Prima tree skirt I made Tuesday evening is PamO! Pam, I have sent you a little email so send me your address! Congrats!

Looks wonderful! I was going to go with a tin too, but ran out of time to figure out the details. The Snowtex was a stroke of genius.

I love what you did with this die inside of a tin. I like that it shows that it doesn't have to lay flat to work. Great project!
