Hi everyone! I hope you guys had a terrific weekend! Thanks for all the super sweet comments last week! You all really made my week extra special!
Since my Live with Prima class is tomorrow night I thought I would go ahead and share all the details with you now! I am gonna need a whole lotta LollyChops support and really hope that at least a few of you can tune in!!!
How it works...
All you need to watch the class is an internet connection! It's all broadcast online! ...and the best part is that it's FREE!
The details...
The class is tomorrow night (Tuesday - Aug. 24) at (4:30pm PST/5:30pm GMT/6:30pm CST/7:30pm EST)! I know that's kinda early but never fear... the whole thing will be recorded so you can watch it later... (cause I know my international readers aren't gonna want to be crafting at 1am+)!
You can access the Prima Ustream Channel HERE to watch!
...also... if you happen to have the time and can tune in a little early I guarantee a little surprise laugh!
One last thing... I recommend that you sign in on UStream cause there's a fun chat that goes on during the show! Maybe you guys can chat about how much you all love teal while watching... doesn't that sound like funsies?!?!?!?!
Essentials for watching...
You will need at least one KING sized bag of peanut M&Ms (plain will work too but the protein in the peanuts will give you the extra fortification needed to help me get through this (I'll be living vicariously through you guys (wobbly knees and all))!!!).
What I'll be using...
This is a totally technique class...which means no kit! But... I am going to share the list of everything that I used in this album and you can pick and choose from the elements you like the best if you decide to make one on your own!
These are the MUST haves as far as I'm concerned:
Donna Downey 4x6 canvas mini album (HERE)
Stencils Mask Set - Mini Motifs (HERE)
Teal Crochet & Mulberry Paper Flowers Pack - (HERE)
The super nice to haves are:
Eclatte Collection - Layered Mulberry Flower Embellishments - (HERE)
Vivian Collection - Flower Embellishments - Anastasia - (HERE)
Winter Rose Collection - Flower Embellishments - Glacier - (HERE)... these totally ROCK
Fairy Flora Collection - Flower Embellishments - Essentials Large - (HERE)
Donna Downey Collection - Screenprinted Canvas Petals - Blue - (HERE)
Papers - Fairy Flora
Summer Storm (HERE)
Sunlight Daisies (HERE)
Garden Party (HERE)
Sunny Day (HERE)
Pixie Garden (HERE)
Fairy Flora (2 of these) (HERE)
Stamp - Paintable clear acrylic stamps - butterfly (HERE)
Alphabet letters - Teal (HERE)
Pearls/Gems:
eLine - Pearl Heart (HERE)
eLine - Teal Pearls and Gems (HERE)
Free stuff...
I also made a little PDF template that you can use to make your own recipe cards! You can either print it on patterned paper (after you type in the recipe) or you can simply write it in... there are two versions (one with lines and one without lines). You can download the template below!
Get the recipe cards with lines and the tab template HERE!
...and...
Get the editable recipe cards without lines HERE (center the text for the best effect)!
I'll be using the following items to create the project:
paper trimmer
scissors
hot glue
quick dry type glue (Helmar 450)
3D adhesive foam squares
large paint brush
acrylic paint- (I used Plaid - Folk Art paints in Jamaican Sea, Aqua and Yellow Citron)
embossing powder (green, yellow and orange and teal (optional) OR chalk inks in those same colors- (I used American Crafts - Zing embossing powder in Mustard, Metallic Teal, Cricket, & Apricot)
border punches (I used about 4 different ones but if you have one or two that would be good)
tab punch (not required cause you can use the tab template from the PDF above)
3 - 4 Medium sized sponges
brown Ink (for inking the edges of things)
heat gun
water mister
small stapler
super strong hole punch (like the crop-a-dile)
So that's all she wrote! I was asked to share a close-up picture of the bib necklace I made for my sister two weeks ago so here it is! I learned to make this necklace from watching THIS Live with Prima episode! It's crazy easy (I am working on new colors for her and will share those soon too)!
I hope to see you guys there tomorrow night! If you think you can make it, let me know so I can keep my eyeballs peeled for the lot of yas! Should we have a secret code word??? hehehe Something teal perhaps????
Big HUGS!
P.S. In case you missed it last Friday... I have a giveaway going on right now! You can win the recipe book that I'll be teaching tomorrow night OR some fabulous Helmar adhesives. Make sure you go check out the giveaway HERE!
UPDATE: You can watch the recorded version of the show HERE!!!!! See if you can make it to the end where I play the banjo and possibly even pick some corn (and there might even be a Beverly Hillbillies rendition in the middle there somewhere)!
Good Luck!! I wont be able to watch live but I'll watch the recording later!!

All the better to see you my dear....
y'know you cannot do comments from the feed? I dunno why.
How much did this project cost you? I know you have every thing in the world in your craft room but surprisingly, as much as is here, I have not one item on your list. Maybe a pencil?
Still, I loves ya more than anything, and XXXXX keeping fingers crossed.
all craft hugs to you.

If i don't catch you live, will definately watch the re-run. I did giggle when I read that you will have "editable" recipe cards and I thought it said "edible" and thought that was a splendid idea 'ol Lolly invented - like "smellavision". You know - lick the card and then you'll know how the recipe will turn out - yikes.
You will do splendid tomorrow night!!
