I think I might be getting ahead of myself a tad (as far as seasons go anyway)... so many of you are buried in snow and it's freezing cold outside... but I could not resist making up some little citrus note cards for you to download and print! I hope these little fellas will brighter your blistery days just a little bit!
Crafting with Lolly?
Before I share the cards though, I want to invite you to craft with me next Friday (just in time for the weekend). You'll need a few supplies so I wanted to tell you now so you had time to get everything together (if you are even interested that is)!!!!
We are going to be making a cork wreath! I have been making these for about 8 years now (I think I have literally made about 14 of them as gifts for friends and family). RonChops and I do not drink wine so I have to be crafty in order to find enough corks to make one! I usually hit up restaurants and ask the bartender if they will save them for me... (the nicer the place the more you will get). You can even find them on ebay for a good price too (search for "wine corks")!
You will also need a straw wreath. I found this little one last weekend for .99 at a thrift store... so look there and at your local hobby shop too. The one I have for my kitchen is about 22 inches wide (you need a LOT of corks for that sucker). This little guy is only 12 inches wide and uses quite a few less. How many you may ask... I'll tell you when I finish next Friday.... oh and you will need a hot glue gun too (with LOADS of glue sticks). Loads I tell ya.
O.M.T. Do NOT take the plastic off of the wreath. Trust me ok. Just trust me.
On to the sharsey!
For my post today I have some little download and print freebies to share! I made these little note cards like my other ones. You can see the other guys from my download and print freebies page HERE (I think I have some pears and trees out there). I love these little note cards. You can use them when you are sending your friends little gifts and goodies AND for all you gals out there who sell your crafty fabulousness... feel free to use these note cards and mini tags when you send out your wares! They make a nice little package even nicer. Pretty soon I'll even have an Avery label template that matches with all of the note card sets I have made. Me thinks it will really make a nice presentation!
Where has Lolly been?
You may have noticed that I did not post 5 days this week (then again you may have heaved a sigh of relief that I was not clogging your RSS reader with daily posts too)!
I have decided to change a few things around here. I'll only be posting 4 days a week (3 times mon-fri + the sunday guest recipe)... and that's pretty much it. Why? Cause I have so many great things planned that I need time to get them all done!!! I was running out of time and not putting my best stuff out there and I just cannot have that! This extra time will give me more time to get ready for things like the NEXT "Embroidery Week" (in June) and better yet the "Love Some Bunnies Week" that's coming up (I can hardly wait for that one). Lolly really loves her some bunnies... so if you do not like rabbits... you are prolly going to want to steer clear of LollyChops during that time. (don't worry... I'll warn ya...I swears.)!
I hope everyone had a terrific week! If you have made stuff from some of my tutorials and patterns, etc... please feel free to send me pics and I'll post them for everyone to gaze upon!
LollyChops - Fresh Note Cards

Holy cow, Lolly - that's a lot of corks! I might get a wreath and do something else with it with you, b/c I only have like 3 corks saved. BTW - the lemons make me very happy.

Lolly I'm sorry but, I have no idea what this post was about. All I saw was wine and bunnies. Two of my VERY FAVORITE things in the whole entire world! I think I need one of these cork wreaths so I'm going to start drinking wine when I get home to have enough for the wreath. And I'm pretty sure that we need a bunny month. Is there anything better in the world than a bunny? I'm sure this was a fantastic post but, you know how my mind works. I'll come back later when I've calmed down and re-read it!

I, of course, have a fabulous cork wreath by Lolly - go collect those corks, ladies and gents - you will LOVE the result, I promise. AND they hold up magnificently wherever you hang them! BUNNIES week - whooohoo! Love bunnies.

Hi Lolly,
I just want to send a HUGE thank you your way for being so completely generous with your free patterns and ideas. I just looked through your totally adorable embroidery patterns from last week and printed them all. I know absolutley nothing about embroidery, but the adorable art and beautiful colors make me want to do something with them. Also, I am so honored that you liked my card for the KWerner color challenge. Thanks for checking it out!

Goodness, LC, did you know that, next to pears, lemons are my favorite flavor and color? Yup, lemon lotion, lemon soap, lemonade, you name it. I'm gonna try making an aluminum foil hat to see if that can FOIL your mind-reading. You're good, girl. You go, girl!

I am excited for bunnies! I used to have a big old pet house bunny. He was SO much fun! I still like to stop by the pet shop and pet the bunnies. My favorite are the ones who are so little they're practically face-less. Can't resist those cotton tails.
If I walked around and picked up all the corks I throw to my cats (free cat toys!) I would probably have enough to make your wreath. Hmm. This makes it sounds like I need to go to Wine n' Craft Rehab. Actually, that sounds like a pretty fun place, sign me up!
I'm excited for your posting schedule. You out out SO MUCH amazing craftiness, this seems much more manageable. Having time to plan rocks and I'm so excited to see what you come up with!

Hi Lolly, I remember Ellen (tv ellen) used to do a bit about a cabunny- part cat, part bunny.. AAAnywayyy.. I love bunnies I dunno why, just like the shape of a bunny. My dad was taking corks, cutting them in half and mounting them on boards to make... wait for it... cork bulletin boards to hold your favorite wine labels. I gotta run downstairs and get you a picture of it. As always a day late and a dollar two fitty short.
BUNNIES! plus, love the BIG lemon the bestest.
